Essential improvements
Moguri Mod
- Improves pre-rendered backgrounds using a specifically-trained AI for upscaling.
- Includes non-stretched widescreen support, although there are minor errors such as battle effects being misaligned. Not all backgrounds allow widescreen support either. Alt+space toggles widescreen.
- Restores proper analog control support.
- Includes the original PSX fonts for English and French languages, although those who prefer readability instead of the pixelated look should ignore this feature (uncheck "Use custom font" during installation).
- Includes a way to patch the game to increase the audio sampling rate.
- Includes the Memoria mod, an engine overhaul. The engine uses files from "Moguri Mod" folder in Program Files instead of entirely from the game's root folder. Further options and hacks can be edited in the Memoria config file in the game's root folder.
- Includes an option to install 15 fanmade orchestrated music by Pontus Hultgren and upscaled 3D battle textures.
Scaled Battle UI
- Modifies UI during battle to make it closer to the original PSX format.
- Fixes analog movement with control sticks.
- Includes additional tweaking, such as changing font, battle speed, and encounter rates.
