Rise of the Tomb Raider is a singleplayer and multiplayer third-person action and adventure game in the Tomb Raider series.
Rise of the Tomb Raider was developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix. The game was ported to Windows by Nixxes Software and ported to both Linux and MacOS by Feral Interactive, who also published these Linux and MacOS ports.
The Windows version received several updates around the end of 2021 that added support for DLSS 2.3.2.0, updated multiplayer infrastructure to use Epic Online Services (without the need for an Epic account), removed Denuvo from the game and implemented several stability-fixes (especially when using the DirectX 12 renderer).[4]

Issues fixed
Low visual quality when using DLSS
- The game uses a flawed implementation of DLSS that runs full-screen post-processing effects before DLSS upscales the image.[20][21]
Disable Depth of Field and Film Grain in the graphics menu of the game.[20] |

- Confirmed using the DLSS Indicator as well as comparison shots that full-screen post-processing effects are run before the DLSS upscaling pass, which ends up harming the visual quality of the screen when compared to native rendering. Disabling Depth of Field and Film Grain works around the worst of the issue.
