Essential improvements

Add missing font characters

Replace the font with one with the missing characters and symbols used in the game[2]
  1. Download FF6PC-Font
  2. Extract Arial-Bold.tff from the .rar.
  3. Go to Final Fantasy 6\obb\font\.
  4. Replace Arial-Bold.tff in the folder with the modded Arial-Bold.tff.

Original Super Famicom sprites

Original designs of Siren and the boss "Goddess" from the Super Famicom version.[2][4]
  1. Download DesignReverter_v1-0.zip.
  2. Extract the contents and run DesignReverter.exe.
  3. Choose Yes when prompted to install to main.OBB.

Remove bilinear filter

Remove the bilinear filter.[5]
  1. Download FFVI_Defilter v1_909716.zip.
  2. Extract the contents into the installation folder.
  3. Run FFVI_Defilter.exe
  4. Press ↵ Enter to continue and wait for program to report success.
  5. Delete the files extracted from the .zip, as they are not needed after the patch.
