Version differences

The GOG.com version is a complete edition. The Times - Exclusive Tomb Raider Level is part of the bonus content downloads. The level was later released as freeware for those whom own the base game, so Steam users aren't completely out of luck.

The tomb4 project

A decompilation project that, first and foremost aims to document and preserve the original source code and assets of the game, and secondly, aims to provide bug fixes and gameplay improvements in many sections of the game. Utilizes a .dll file to inject decompiled code into the executable.

VR support

Issues unresolved

Caused by an incompatibility with the sound drivers. The only solution is to play the game by disabling audio from the setup launcher, but this is not an adequate solution.

Issues fixed

"binkw32.dll" not found

Use replacement binkw32.dll[1]
  1. Download the Bink Video 1.0a DLL.
  2. Extract binkw32.dll into the installation folder.

Window border visible in fullscreen mode

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation does not go fullscreen correctly on Windows 8 and later.
Apply the fix

Download and install the Tomb Raider series fullscreen border fix
