Key points
- This is a re-release of the 2000 PC port of the PlayStation version updated with compatibility with modern operating systems along with additional new features. (Click first ref to see.)[1][2]
- Slightly better models with more polygons (togglable).
- Unfavorable to the PlayStation version in areas:
- out of combat movement is limited 8 directions as opposed to complete circular movement
- has fixable inferior MIDI music
- has thin black bars on the top and bottom
- has blurry FMVs
- While the PlayStation version ran at 60 FPS, excluding menu screens the PC frame rate is capped at 30 FPS, 15 FPS during combat and FMVs.[3]
- No option to turn random encounters off.

Quezacotl sound fix
- Fixes the incorrect sounds during the GF Quezacotl's summoning animation.
Graphical enhancements
- Tonberry Enhanced - Adds external texture support. (WARNING: This may cause issues with the Steam Overlay and the game may crash. Disable the Steam Overlay).
- Project Eden - Filters and upscales the pixelated backgrounds. Please note that some backgrounds are not perfect and have some graphic problems.
- Tripod - Adds HD Triple Triad card game.
- SeeD Reborn - Updates many elements of the HUD such as the title screen, font, textboxes, character art and battle/menu icons.

- To run from battle, hold L3 and R3 (analog sticks).
- Ctrl+R resets the game to the title screen.
- Button prompts are B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, etc. Use Button prompts mod for Xbox/DualShock buttons.
