The development of the game started on the Unity engine and was first announced in 2015 for Windows and consoles. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Linux and macOS ports were also confirmed. On May 21, 2024, Nightdive Studios announced that the macOS and Linux ports were cancelled.[2]
