Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a singleplayer and multiplayer third-person platform game developed as a spinoff of the LittleBigPlanet series. It makes use of Unreal Engine 4.

It was developed originally by Sumo Digital Sheffield and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 and 5, which got released on November 12, 2020. The PC version was developed by The Eccentric Ape and published by PlayStation PC. The PC version got released on October 27, 2022, almost 2 years after its initial release. Notable additions to the PC release compared to the original PlayStation versions are ray traced reflections, ray traced additional effect lighting shadows and ray traced ambient occlusion. Additionally it added support for DLSS 2.4.

Post-launch patches added several pieces of free costume & emote DLC, DLSS Frame Generation, fixes for shader compilation stutter (game now pre-compiles shaders during boot)[3][4][5], added 60, 75 and 144 FPS cap options[6], added T-Shirt, Baroque Costume and Renaissance Costume (originally a PlayStation launch exclusive)[7] and several bug fixes related to performance and stability.[8][9][5][10]
