Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is a singleplayer and multiplayer real-time open world adventure game developed by Mojang and Microsoft Studios and published by Microsoft Studios. Although the term Bedrock Edition refers to versions for various operating systems and devices, the Minecraft for Windows (prev. Windows 10 Edition) release is the only one of them to run on PC without sideloading nor emulation, and is the sole focus of this page.

The game fully supports cross-platform multiplayer with mobile and console versions, and is likely to perform better than Minecraft: Java Edition.[2] While there is official add-on support, the modding community is more active around the Java Edition since the modding support in it is less limited. The game also lacks some features from the Java Edition which some Java players may miss.[3][4]
