Minecraft Dungeons is made by Mojang and published by Microsoft Studios. It is set in the Minecraft universe. Unlike its predecessors Minecraft, the original first-person sandbox game, and Minecraft: Story Mode, an episodic point and select adventure game, Minecraft Dungeons is a hack and slash-styled ARPG viewed from a bird's-eye view.

On May 26, 2020 the game was released on Microsoft Store for Windows 10, as well as on its own launcher compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10.

Key points
