  2. Run the game.
Delete configuration folder[9]
  1. Go to the configuration file location.
  2. Delete or rename the Deus Ex_ The Fall folder.
  3. The game should now launch properly.

Games crashes upon launch

  1. Close the game and make sure the .exe isn't running in Task Manager
  2. Open your firewall (Windows Firewall works well)
  3. Create an outbound traffic rule that blocks the game's .exe file within the steamapps folder.
