The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
From PCGamingWiki, the wiki about fixing PC games
Revision as of 15:52, 11 February 2015 by Mirh (talk | contribs) (tell not to disable vsync does not fix lag caused by this technique. Also, I still have to hear whether 60 or 64 is the right fine point. And congratulations to ratchet for the massive work(albeit "frame limiter" seems too much a term for GTA:SA than TES))
This page may require cleanup to meet basic quality standards. The specific problem is: A fix to maintain proper synchronization (be it 60 or 64 Hz) without also vertical synchronization is a must (see talk page). You can help by modifying
the article. The discussion page may contain useful suggestions.

Key points
- A wide array of bugs not fixed by official updates have been addressed through in community patches. See Unofficial patches.
- Extremely active modding community, more mods can be found here and here.
- Due to the fixed time step the game has been limited to 60 FPS, disabling the frame limiter will result in the physics behaving incorrectly.
- Negligible performance increase while using Nvidia SLI, due to the poorly optimized nature of the game.[citation needed]
