Issues unresolved
Fluctuating game speed during gameplay
- Some users[18][19] and DigitalFoundry[20] reports that an issue occurs during gameplay (and most noticeably during bike riding segments) where the game speed rapidly fluctuates between full speed and a lower speed.[21]

Notes
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 Notes regarding Steam Play (Linux) data:
- File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data.
- Games with Steam Cloud support may also store data in
~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/1259420/
. - Use Wine's registry editor to access any Windows registry paths.
- The app ID (1259420) may differ in some cases.
- Treat backslashes as forward slashes.
- See the glossary page for details on Windows data paths.
- ↑ At the moment, the Cheat Engine table affects cutscene FOV as well.
- ↑ While the game has issues detecting DualSense controllers wirelessly, it is accepted wirelessly through Steam Input, including an official configuration from the developers and automatically using DualShock 4 button prompts.[10]
- ↑ The in-game "Motion Sensor Function Aiming" option only works when a DualShock 4 or DualSense controller is connected over USB and with Steam Input disabled. Gyro-aiming has acceleration that cannot be disabled.[12]
- ↑ While analog stick input doesn't switch between Keyboard/Mouse prompts and Controller prompts, other inputs (Such as buttons or triggers) do switch between prompts.[13]
- ↑ When using the "Automatic" Controller Display option, controller prompts will switch based on the controller type.[14]
- ↑ Attempting to force DirectX 12 using the
-d3d12
command line argument causes the game to crash on launch.[22]

- "Moving around on the motorcycle or even walking about the game world can cause the speed of the game to rapidly rubber-band between normal speed and a lower game speed. When this happens, the game looks like it is having performance issues, but in reality, Days Gone is producing perfect frame-rates."
