Issues unresolved

Corrupt save file

Issue may be fixed with Patch 1.01.

Exiting the game at certain moments can lead to a corrupt savegame.^[2]

Replace corrupt file with a new one^[3]

Do NOT create a new Autosave. Exit the game after seeing the message about the corrupt savefile.
Create a copy of the savegamefolder.
Restart game, create a new Autosave and exit normally.
Replace the new savefolder file by file with your old save and start the game each time.
When encountering the corrupt save message, remember the file, that was replaced earlier. It is the corrupt one.
Create a new Autosave as prompted and exit the game normally.
Replace all files in the new savegamefolder with your old save with the exception of the corrupt one.

Notes

Does not restore the content stored in the corrupt file.^[4]

Not an option, if a new Autosave was created prior to making a copy of the folder.

Restore older version^[5]

Go to the savegamelocation.
Right click on the folder and pick "Restore previous version".

Notes

Progress made after restoring point is lost.

Windows restorefunction needs to be active prior to the incident.
