Widescreen resolution and FoV

Game contains widescreen toggle which can switch between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.
There is no native support for 16:10 or any other ratios and game is stretched to fullscreen.
Widescreen Fixer and Flawless Widescreen utilities support this game. They can be used to play not 16:9 aspect ratios without distortions.
Custom field of view and aspect ratio can be set by FOV Hack by Racer_S. [1] which unfortunately will not work with the Steam version.

Steam overlay

Game does not support Steam overlay and no permanent fix is yet known.
Alt-Tab seems to be working flawlessly as a cheap fix.

Issues fixed

Random crashing

Random crashing can be resolved by switching off Next generation content from Display options. Crashes only occur at certain points in the game so the setting can be switched back on once beyond the problematic area.
