Saints Row: The Third Remastered is a third-person open world action shooter in the Saints Row series, and a remastered version of the 2011 game Saints Row: The Third. The remaster was developed by Sperasoft and published by Deep Silver, featuring an entirely new lighting engine with physical-based rendering, HDR rendering, and global illumination, as well as reworked and improved vehicles, completely remade weapons, reworked visual effects, higher resolution textures, improved materials and much more.[1]
The version includes all DLCs from the original game with the exception of Team Fortress 2 Masks, Bloodsucker Pack, and Unlockable Pack which are not included and cannot be purchased.[2][3]
The game was released for Windows on the Epic Games Store on May 22, 2020 with an announced release for Steam in 2021.[4] While the original 2011 game eventually received a Linux port in 2016, as of May 20, 2020 no such support for the remastered version has been announced.[5]
Initial reactions to the announced remaster on social media were lukewarm, with some dismissing it as merely being the original game with a few shader filters applied.[6] On the day of release as the review embargo dropped and more information about the remaster surfaced it was revealed that much of the graphics engine and resources had been recreated or enhanced. Digital Foundry described the remaster as "an exceptional effort" that "addresses all of [the performance] issues" of the original game and "radically updates all visual aspects of the presentation" and was "one of the best remasters" they have seen.[7]

Game is too dark in HDR mode
- The game seems to have a bug with its brightness calibration slider, causing the value to be incorrect by 50 units.
