Just Cause 4 is a singleplayer third-person open world and TPS game in the Just Cause series.

Use Ashen Mod Loader and No Intro Mod^[1]

Extract ModLauncherv1.1 from here and launch JC4-Config.exe from that explorer window, go to the game installation folder, press the "Install Mods" button and the game will now be patched to enable dropzone, this method allows the game to be launched from steam with mods enabled. for Windows 11, if running JC4-Config.exe brings up an explorer window that only features the desktop without the option to navigate to your steam directory, drag ConsoleLauncher.exe from the resources folder to the to the game installation folder, make a backup of the original JustCause4.exe and rename ConsoleLauncher.exe to JustCause4.exe this patches the game to enable dropzone manually.
Download the latest version of the mod here and extract the dropzone folder to the game installation folder.

Use No Intro Mod and Mod Launcher^[2]
Download the latest version of the mod here and extract the `dropzone` folder to the game installation folder. Use the `LaunchWithDropzone.exe` launcher from here to launch the game using the contents of the `dropzone` folder. The launcher uses English voiceovers by default. Command line arguments for languages are listed on the mod page.

Use Just Cause 4 Console Thingy
Download the latest version here. Extract `xinput9_1_0.dll` to `<path-to-game>`. Add the `-quickstart` command line argument.

Fix Voice Language Being Set To English And Becoming Unchangeable

Manually Change The Voice Language From The Game Files^[3]
Go to the game installation folder/archives_win64/main Make a backup of `eng` and rename your chosen language to `eng`

Issues unresolved

Game freezes

A possible solution is setting CPU priority to High.

Changing CPU Priority

Open the Task Manager, and go to the Details tab.
Right-click JustCause4.exe and select Set Priority.
Select High. Then click Change priority.

This has to be done every time the game is launched. Use a program like Process Hacker to save the CPU priority.

Game Crashes when trying to do Cabo Marrón Wingsuit Stunt

A problem seemingly exclusive to the base EGS version of the game which seems to be missing files and is therefore impossible to 100%.

Make sure you buy the Season pass, Gold or Complete version on said store
