Issues fixed

Crashes after opening game using unofficial mods on Windows 8 and later

Changing the racing team in menu and loading tracks has issues. The possible way was a mod problem.[5]

  1. Open F1 Challenge 99-02.exe compatibility settings.
  2. Enable Windows 95 compatibility mode.
  3. Run the game as adminstrator.

Vsync option in Game Setup not working on Windows 10

The game uses Vsync to enable but in Windows 10 does not work because the game uses DirectX 8 and the Vsync of DirectX 8 in Windows 10 is broken.

  1. Download dgVoodoo 2.
  2. Copy dgVoodooCpl.exe and MS\x86\D3D8.dll to <path-to-game>.

Using mods does not require the base game.

F1 Challenge VB

The whole mod with over F1 seasons of 1950 to newest is released.
For only on newest systems, a 210 GB of storage for definitive season tracks and teams is required to install.
To complete the installation, a patch installer is required and it's available here. For instructions, read the Readme file below. A password for this mod is required to complete (requires registration).[6]
Available with new languages: Italian, French, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Polish, Czech, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese.
Including launcher for this game to launch selecting a seasons, configuring game, etc.
Launching and loading a game can take quite a while due to the storage size.
