Force windowed[citation needed]

- Download and run DxWnd.
- Click on Edit, then Add.
- Set the name and executable path.
- Set the window position and size.
- Set Desktop for borderless fullscreen windowed.
- Click on Video tab, set Modal Style.
- Click OK, then File and Save.
- Alternatively, you can add +set r_fullscreen "0" into your config file to have your game run in a window and then use solutions like Windowed Borderless Gaming or Borderless gaming to achieve borderless window.

Enable 8x MSAA[citation needed]

- Nvidia hardware: graphical glitches (such as white dots around anti-aliased entities) might occur when enabling MSAA (enhancing to SGSSAA removes those artifacts); diagonal dotted line also appears in certain instances (such as the credits screen), turning "AA Fix" to on via nVidia Profile Inspector fixes this.[5]
