Issues fixed

Inconsistent framerates and/or stuttering with 12th generation Intel CPUs on Windows 10

This issue has been fixed by the 1.0.1 update.[12]
Create a script file to redefine how the CPU runs the game[13]
  1. Navigate to the configuration files location.
  2. Create a new text file named user.script.
  3. Open the user.script file and add the following lines, taking care to include all punctuation and spaces: HYBRID_CPUS_TREAT_ALL_CORES_UNIFORMLY true; number_of_threads 5;, save the file and run the game.
If this does not help, the developer recommends upgrading to Windows 11.

Game is stuck on the loading screen and/or text does not appear in the Microsoft Store version

Manually edit the preferences script to set the default language[13]
  1. Navigate to the configuration files location for the Microsoft Store version.
  2. Create or open the preferences.script file.
  3. Set the following lines: language_text ""; language_audio ""; to language_text "en"; language_audio "en";.
  4. Save the file and run the game.
This issue seems isolated to players running the game in the Russian, Polish, or Italian languages. You can temporarily swap your game to English by using the fix above to bypass the issue and progress to playing the game.

Game freezes in Multiplayer lobby on the Microsoft Store version

Change profile picture in your Xbox Live profile[13]
  1. Navigate to profile in PC Game Pass desktop app by clicking on profile picture in upper right corner.
  2. Click on "View Profile"
  3. Click on "Change player picture" in top middle section.
  4. Click on a profile picture other than the currently selected on.
  5. Click Save and run the game.
