Mods
- See the beginners setup guide for instructions on how to configure the game for mod support.
- Requires patching the game executable using TTGamesPatcher. This works on both the Steam and GOG versions' executables and does not touch any DRM.[7]
- Setting up mods requires extracting the game's .DAT files, which noticeably increases file size, increases load times, and may disable achievements.
Miscellaneous
- Villains Extended QoL Mod 1.5 by Lexmeister - Makes several quality of life improvements. See note for full list: [Note 3]
Audio enhancements
- Movie-accurate DLC soundtrack mod by Gabriel Bezerra - Updates the soundtrack for the DLC levels based upon Mask of the Phantasm, Aquaman, and Shazam[Note 4] to use music from the respective films they adapt. Place the

- Games with Steam Cloud support may also store data in
~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/829110/
. - Use Wine's registry editor to access any Windows registry paths.
- The app ID (829110) may differ in some cases.
- Treat backslashes as forward slashes.

- ↑ From Discord post:
This is a simple mod that doesn't add anything new to the game, but instead makes some small 'quality-of-life' changes to things already present in-game, making the experience slightly different and hopefully more enjoyable and/or immersive. No new models/textures/effects are applied by this mod, only a few script changes to the base game. · Fast Boot- Makes the startup screen and cutscene (LEGO,DC,Tt logos) faster and skippable, respectively. · Rush Start - Some unskippable cutscenes can now be skipped (e.g.: can skip level 0 cutscene and jump right into character creator) · More Characters- Unlocks "hidden" unobtainable character and animal. · More Vehicles- Unlocks every "hidden" unobtainable vehicle and turret. · No Bad Words - Custom characters are allowed to be named anything, all 'bad words' have been removed. · Kill Everything - Civilians, Babies and animals can now be killed, they can even fight back when attacked. · Bigfig Ride- Allows Bigfigs to use vehicles and ride animals · Grabs Extended- Allows to use Grab moves and executions on followers (or other player) and civilians. Cannot be performed on all characters. · Faster Credits - End credits scroll much faster and are forced to finish 156 seconds in, instead of 900 seconds (15 min), ensuring only one playback of the "I fought the law" song. Credits can still be skipped at any time. · Customizing+ (experimental and buggy) - Custom characters can now use more than one body attachment part at once and with every hair, without limits.

- Using GBros XInput adapter for Wii Classic Controller. Controller lacks clickable sticks, and I was unable to find a way to type without the keyboard. Ended up remapping the L3 and R3 to the left and right D-Pad buttons (since this game lets you do that, unlike LMSH2.

- The patcher works by patching a single byte at a specific offset from

(unconditional jump). The GOG and Steam executables are the same size, with the only notable difference being the GOG version pointing tocommon64.dll
instead ofsteam_api64.dll
, so the offsets stay the same, and the existing patcher works on the GOG version in addition to the original Steam target.
