Use Flawless Widescreen; alternatively, FOV be modified by editing `renderer_settings.xml` (see Configuration file location) and changing the value of `"aspect ratio"`. A value of 2 to 2.5 is recommended for 16:9 displays, with 2.3 being ideal with minimal clipping of weapon models.^[3] For example, `<variable name="aspect_ratio" value="0"/>` becomes `<variable name="aspect_ratio" value="2.3"/>`.

Failed to start game (app already running) error

Additional symptom: Task manager (or Process Explorer) shows the game appear in the task list, but it closes immediately.

Startup crash

Startup crashes pertain to PhysX v2.7.1. Uninstall PhysX, and install the latest Nvidia PhysX System Software.

Crash at launch: Unhandled exception - divide by zero (integer)

Use the patch by indiaZaop found at ghostrecon.net.

Only intended for GRAW2 v1.05

Crash during campaign briefing - PhysX

Adjust physics options^[5]
Open the in-game options menu, select the video tab. Show advanced options. Change Physics from "PhysX High" to "Normal".
