Total War: Warhammer III is a singleplayer and multiplayer bird's-eye view RTS, strategy and TBS game developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega.

The game was initially announced for PC during early February 2021 with a placeholder release date for later that year. In September 2021, the game has been delayed to early 2022, with the release date of February 17th, 2022, being announced on November 4th.

The PC version of the game is available for Windows (with Linux and OS X versions coming) and is distributed through Epic Games Store, Steam and Microsoft Store. It features ultra-widescreen support, high frame rates, key remapping and surround sound support.

Issues fixed

Inconsistent framerates and/or stuttering with 12th generation Intel CPUs on Windows 10

Create a script file to redefine how the CPU runs the game
Navigate to the configuration files location. Create a new text file named user.script. Open the user.script file and add the following lines, taking care to include all punctuation and spaces: HYBRID_CPUS_TREAT_ALL_CORES_UNIFORMLY true; number_of_threads 5;, save the file and run the game. If this does not help, the developer recommends upgrading to Windows 11.

Game is stuck on the loading screen and/or text does not appear in the Microsoft Store version

Manually edit the preferences script to set the default language
Navigate to the configuration files location for the Microsoft Store version. Create or open the preferences.script file. Set the following lines: language_text ""; language_audio ""; to language_text "en"; language_audio "en";. Save the file and run the game.
