Anno 1404: History Edition is a Single player, Multiplayer game released by Ubisoft Blue Byte. It uses an updated and enhanced version of a proprietary game engine[1]used in the original Anno 1404.

Anno 1404: History Edition released on multiple storefronts such as Uplay,Epic Games Store and Steam on June 25, 2020. This newer version of the game is much more optimized for modern PC's with newer hardware as well as software. One of the biggest changes to this game is that it is now ported over to 64bit only, meaning it can now take full advantage of the RAM in present computers, which greatly helps improve performance and stability.
