Retail copies might come with Pando Media Booster, a third-party BitTorrent-based client that was used up until 2013 to speed up the patching process of the game. Due to security concerns, Pando Media Booster should be uninstalled if it is present on the system.[1][2]

DLC Portions of the game's quests and classes can be bought in à la carte fashion via quest packs and purchased classes.
Expansion pack The game receives regular paid expansions with new story content and occasionally new game mechanics.
Free-to-play Beginning portions of the game is accessible for free, although the player will relatively quickly run out of meaningful content.
Subscription Optional monthly subscription which unlocks large portions (but not all) of content which free to play players can buy directly.
