Version differences[edit]

The Deluxe version adds higher-resolution graphics and new game features. The free release is the Deluxe version.

Essential improvements[edit]

Skip intro videos[edit]

Make necessary changes[1]
  1. Go to the installation folder.
  2. Edit RDXF.BAT (fullscreen) or RDX.BAT (windowed).
  3. Remove the line 2k_intro.exe
  4. Remove the line start endslate/endslate.html
  5. Save your changes. Repeat for the other file if you use both modes.
  6. Edit RDX2.BAT.
  7. Remove the line intro
  8. Save your changes. The game will now go directly to the title screen and exit without showing an ad.
