Jets'n'Guns 2 is an indie side-scrolling shoot'em up with loot management elements. Like its 2004 predecessor, the sequel features an original soundtrack composed by Machinae Supremacy.

The game was initially released on Steam as an Early Access title on December 11, 2018. Updates were generally released every 2 months, until it successfully left Early Access on July 24, 2020.

The game is available for Windows in digital distribution and remains fully playable. A Linux version is not planned.[1]

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/830820/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (830820) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
  2. As for August 19, 2020 the game takes 350 MB on disk, despite what the Steam storepage says.[5]
