Issues fixed[edit]

Cannot access menus[edit]

By default, keyboard key to access menu in-game is F1 (DualShock square button, Xbox X button).
Disable GeForce Experience share feature[1]
  1. Open GeForce Experience
  2. Open settings.
  3. From general settings, disable "In-game overlay"

Notes

Make certain that you do not have any other software interfering with the game, especially with overlay and hotkeys using F1
Change keybinding for menu[2]
  1. Go to the configuration file location.
  2. Open config.txt.
  3. Locate pad_square = f1 and add in desired key to same line e.g. pad_square = f1,key_f for F.

FPS Drops and Text Delays[edit]

This fix is for computers that have Nvidia graphics cards
Disable GeForce Experience share feature[3]
  1. Open Nvidia Control Panel
  2. Go to "Manage 3D settings"
  3. Go to "program settings"
  4. Select or add "dangan3win.exe"
  5. Check if GPU settings are using the dedicated graphics card in the computer, if not change it to do so

Notes

  1. When running this game without Administrator elevation, activity in %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMFILES(X86)%, and %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore\ (more details).
  2. 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/567640/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (567640) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
