Widescreen resolution

Set in XCom.ini[1]
  1. Choose the Direct3D renderer in-game.
  2. Go to <path-to-game>\System\
  3. Open XCom.ini.
  4. Change FullscreenViewportX= and FullscreenViewportY= to the desired fullscreen resolution.
  5. For resolutions higher than 2048x2048 download dgVoodoo2 and copy the files from the MS folder into <path-to-game>\System\.

Notes

If fullscreen mode does not work when using dgVoodoo2 increase the DirectX VRAM value with dgVoodooSetup.exe.

Field of view (FOV)

  1. Go to <path-to-game>\System\
  2. Open User.ini.
  3. Change DesiredFOV=90.000000 and DefaultFOV=90.000000 to the desired FOV.
