Issues Fixed

Disable negative mouse acceleration

Mouse polling rate above 250 introduces negative mouse-acceleration.
Disable mouse smoothing/acceleration[2]
  1. Open %LOCALAPPDATA%\Boltgun\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Input.ini
  2. Add bEnableMouseSmoothing=False to the bottom.

Game will not launch due to VR hook

If VR hardware is used, the game may be unable to launch without its requisite software running.
Workaround: delete VR hook files[3]
  1. Delete <path-to-game>\Boltgun\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\OpenXR.

Cutscenes not playing on Windows 7/8/8.1

Use lower quality video files[4]
  1. Navigate to <path-to-game>\Boltgun\Content\Movies.
  2. Open either the 720p or 1080p directories and delete _720 or _1080 from the names of each video file.
  3. Copy all 4 video files to the root of the <path-to-game>\Boltgun\Content\Movies directory replacing the ones there.
