(→‎Video: Added workaround to force lower screen percentages when using DLSS.)
(→‎Video: DLSS here is always using "Auto" mode. Confirmed with a 4K display and DLSS HUD where you can see that the game is upscaling from 1080p. Auto mode select rendering resolution depending on the output one. See more here on p9: https://github.com/NVIDIA/DLSS/blob/main/doc/RTX%20UI%20Developer%20Guidelines.pdf)

High-fidelity upscaling

Using the latest development build of Special K, it's possible to force the game to use a lower screen percentage than Quality otherwise uses, effectively forcing lower presets.
Change screen percentage using Special K[8]
  1. Run the game using the latest development build of Special K.
  2. Start playing the game via either a new game or an existing save game.
  3. Open the Special K overlay (default key combo is Control+ Shift+← Backspace).
  4. Click on Direct3D 12 Settings if not already open.
  5. Click on NVIDIA DLSS if not already open.
  6. Right-click on DLSS Perf/Quality.
  7. From the window which appears, click the check box on the Quality row.
  8. Using the slider on the Quality row, lower the resolution percentage until the desired percentage is reached. (Default percentages for other quality presets, such as Performance, are also shown and can be used for reference.)
  9. Close the Special K overlay and exit the game.
  10. Run the game again using Special K.

Notes:

The game must always be run via Special K using this fix; otherwise, the original screen percentage will be restored.

Tested using Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker and tweaking Antialiasing option in-game. r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing is always 2, which per official UE4 console command documentation, means the game is using TAA. In-game Antialiasing setting follows standard UE4 AA quality presets, which will always leave the chosen post-processing AA method even on the lowest setting.
