Dead Space (2023) is a singleplayer third-person shooter and survival horror game in the Dead Space series.
The game was received well by many critics, especially for its visuals, improved zero-gravity sections and many other changes that were made compared to the 2008 original Dead Space.[1]

Version differences
- (Digital) Deluxe Edition: contains the base game and 5 cosmetic items; three unique suits (Infested, Lone survivor and Venture) and two unique suit textures (Sanctified and Bloody).
- Pre-ordering the game through Origin or Steam grants a copy of Dead Space 2 on launch.

Video
- This game utilizes a tier 2 software Variable Rate Shading (VRS) solution with no way to turn it off. It possibly gives a minor performance boost at the cost of significantly reducing the final image quality. This is especially visible when DLSS or FSR is enabled, as the VRS then stays enabled, further degrading the image quality than these upscaling techniques would normally do.[4] A future patch will provide the option to disable VRS.[5]
