Key points
- Based on the low quality PlayStation 2 port rather than the superior GameCube version.[1]
- Poor keyboard controls and no mouse support; a controller is highly recommended.
- Frame rate is capped at 30 FPS.

Remapping
- There are a slew of gamepad and keyboard configuration settings in SetupTool.ini which you can set. Use of the mouse is not available in the game.
If you are using an Xbox 360 controller / Wireless controller for Windows, you might like to know that you can use your triggers
to ready your knife or your weapon, instead of buttons LB (no. 5) and RB (no. 6). It's a simple tweak, just open "SetupTool.ini",
locate and modify as follows next lines to link the Z axis (az+ for LT, az- for RT) where ReadyKnife and ReadyWeapon appear in the INI.
; These functions can allocate only a digital button. |
---|
Action=1 |
Run=2 |
Map=8 |
ReadyKnife=az+ |
ReadyWeapon=az- |
and this other section the same way only for ReadyKnife and ReadyWeapon variables too, nothing else.

PadName=Microsoft:XBOX 360 For Windows (Controller) |
Foward=ay- |
Back=ay+ |
LeftTurn=ax- |
RightTurn=ax+ |
CameraUp=ry- |
CameraDown=ry+ |
CameraLeft=rx- |
CameraRight=rx+ |
Action=3 |

Map=8 |
ReadyKnife=az+ |
ReadyWeapon=az- |
This will render usable your triggers, but from now and on you will need to modify manually your new remappings, since SetupTool.exe will show [ NONE ] for the trigger remapping, and left LB (5) and RB (6) available to whatever action function you like.
But we repeat, if you want to use LB & RB, assign their numbers to an only action manually in the INI file, not using SetupTool.exe.
- SIDENOTE: "Foward" it's not a typo, check your original file to make sure it comes bad written on purpose.
