Satisfactory is a first-person open world factory building game developed and published by Coffee Stain Studios.
The game was released to early access on March 19, 2019 on Epic Games Store and has reached over 500,000 copies sold by June 7, 2019.[2] Following its third major update, the game became available on Steam on June 8, 2020, allowing cross-play with Epic Games Store.[3] Coffee Stain Studios described the releases on both platforms as an "incredible success", as they announced that by July 3, the number of sales on Steam has exceeded 360,000 and the total number across both stores has reached 1.3 million.[Note 2][4]
The game has received eight major updates, with the last released to the main branch of the game on November 14, 2023.[5]
As of July 16, 2021, official mod support is planned but not implemented, while the community-created FICSIT Augmentation Database contains hundreds of modifications.[6]
