Warnings
- The macOS (OS X) version of this game does not work on macOS Catalina (version 10.15) or later due to the removal of support for 32-bit-only apps.
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game is a Lego-styled adaptation of the first four Pirates of the Caribbean films, with music from the first two films and the At World's End video game. The game contains 5 levels for each film, plus a bonus level for collecting all Gold Bricks. It is the Lego game to support proper native 5.1 surround sound on PC, with all music, cutscene, and background ambience tracks pre-mixed at 5.1[1].
The game was released in May 2011 to coincide with the theatrical release of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
The PC release is known to crash at random, although frequency can vary[2][3]. It is still possible to complete the game to 100% in spite of these crashes[4].

- Follow This Tutorial
from Bario the Weird
The tutorial for porting LSW3 characters into LPOTC.
1:Make sure you have LSW3 and LPOTC and that both games are extracted with QuickBMS.
2:In the CHARS folder of POTC, delete PIRATES_BUILDER.APJ.
3:In the CHARS folder of LSW3, copy CLONEWARS_MINIFIG.APJ, paste it into the CHARS folder of POTC, and rename it to PIRATES_BUILDER.apj.
4:In LSW3, go into CHARS/MINIFIG/SUPER_CHARACTERS and copy the contents of the SUPER_MINIFIG folder, paste them somewhere, rename the copies of the files to have SUPER_MINIFGG in the name instead of SUPER_MINIFIG, and move the renamed copies into CHARS/MINIFIG/SUPER_CHARACTERS/SUPER_MINIFIG in POTC.
(I forgot this part):Copy the Contents of SUPER_CHARACTERS from LSW3 into SUPER_CHARACTERS from POTC, and don't replace any files in the destination.
5:Copy the folder for the character you want to port into CHARS/MINIFIG of POTC.
6:Open their .CD file with a hex editor, scroll down to the part where it says Minifigs\Super_Characters\SUPER_Minifig\SUPER_MINIFIG, and change it to Minifigs\Super_Characters\SUPER_Minifig\SUPER_MINIFGG.
7:Add the character to COLLECTION.TXT.
example: collect "Anakin_Gen"
8:Repeat steps 5, 6, and 7 for every character you add.
(Optional, but highly recommended) 9:Copy the contents of STUFF/ICONS from LSW3 into STUFF/ICONS from POTC, and don't replace any files in the destination.
10:There is no step 10, you're done.
Note:If you want to add a sword to your character, add default_item "PirateSword" in their .TXT file.
Note 2:For the Jedi characters, replace jedi in their .TXT file with high_jump_double to give them their double jumps and backflips. Leave jedi in the .TXT file to have them use the force to build.
This only works for minifig characters.
For the character's names to appear and for better weapons, download the LSW3_IN_POTC_EXTRAS.zip file I put in #old_mods_downloads .
|For the better weapons, put Jedi_Sword in the character's txt file instead of PirateSword.
