Issues unresolved
Game starting in VR mode by default
By default, the game tries to start in VR mode. This is problematic for players who don't want to play in VR mode, as it will launch the VR middleware and reconfigure sound playback settings. A possible workaround involves starting the game using the Steam library (instead of Steam's start bar) and using a 2nd available option. Alternatively, a Steam game shortcut can be created and then edited to use the URL steam://rungameid/739630/2
to start a second available launch option from Steam. Unfortunately, the game will likely still change a recording device to a VR headset, even when using a non-VR launch option, which may introduce issues with the voice recognition the game uses.[5][6]
