Game will not start on 64-bit Ubuntu

The game requires the 32-bit version of Java Virtual Machine to run. By default, this is not installed on Ubuntu.
Installing 32-bit Java on Ubuntu[1]
  1. Open the terminal.
  2. Type sudo apt-get install default-jre:i386
