Download Toy Story 2 Fix for Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. Extract all files to <path-to-game>. Run the game.

Bypass disc check

Edit registry entries
Copy the contents of the the <disc-root-directory>\Setup\buzzly\CD directory from the disc to <path-to-game>. Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\travellerstalesbuzz2k\ in the registry editor. Change the value of cdpath to <path-to-game>\. Change the value of path to <path-to-game>\data\, if it isn't already.

Higher quality music

The PC version uses much lower quality music files compared to the console versions.

Replace music tracks with higher quality DC music tracks
Download and unzip the replacement archive. Copy the audio folder to <path-to-game>, overwriting any existing files.

Background music distortion

After an unspecified amount of time, the background music will become distorted. Pausing and un-pausing the game will fix it, but restarts the music.

Use dgVoodoo

Download dgVoodoo 2. Extract the contents of dgVoodoo folder to <path-to-game>. Move contents of the x86 folder contained in the MS folder, to <path-to-game>. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe. Click the [.\] button below the banner. Change General settings according to your hardware. Under the DirectX tab, choose a Videocard (works with ATI Radeon 8500, maybe others). Various performance and video settings can be changed if desired. Tick "Fast Video Memory Access". Click Apply. Run the game.

Open buzz.exe with a hex editor such as HxD Go to offset B35DB Make sure the values at the cursor are 75 10 F6 C5 01 Replace them with E9 18 01 00 00 Run the game.
