Warcraft III: Reforged is a singleplayer and multiplayer bird's-eye view RTS game in the Warcraft series.

All versions require Battle.net DRM, as well as periodic online re-authentication to enable offline mode.[3]
The game can be launched without the Battle.net client running through <path-to-game>\x86_64\Warcraft III.exe -launch -uid w3, but this requires a valid offline token.[4]

Game modes

Reforged Mode enables reimagined graphics and contents, and requires purchase of Warcraft III: Reforged to access.
Classic Mode enables classic graphics and contents, and is accessible for owners of the original game and its expansion.

Warcraft III: Reforged Spoils of War Edition

This version includes the base game, along with the following extra content:

Warcraft III: Reforged Collector's Edition

This version includes all of the content found in the Spoils of War Edition, along with the following extra content:

  • A 11.8" statue of Arthas
  • Pin combining the emblems of the Alliance, Horde, Night Elves and Undead.
  • Four artworks with the emblems of the Alliance, Horde, Night Elves and Undead.
Warcraft III: Reforged Collector's Edition is exclusive to China.[5]

    While I am uncertain of the specific timeframe after which the offline token expires, it does occur after a while.

    If a valid offline token is not present on the system the game will refuse access to the offline mode when launched through this method. Also note that if the game is found not fully up-to-date when signing in to the online mode through this method, it will refer to the Battle.net client to update the game and then terminate itself.
