Essential improvements

Run in DOSBox

To run correctly in DOSBox make the following changes:

Optimal DOSBox configuration file values^[6]

Change cycles=auto to cycles=max
Change memsize=16 to memsize=24
Change timed=true to timed=false
Change rate and oplrate to match the frequencies set in Sound Options in-game.

Leave all other settings at their defaults.

Skip intro videos

Delete/rename video files^{[citation needed]}

Go to <path-to-game>\TVI
Delete or rename DEPA.TVI and LOGO.TVI.

Notes

The 3D Realms and Terminal Reality logos will still be shown.
