Availability
- SafeDisc retail DRM does not work on Windows Vista and later (see above for affected versions).
Essential improvements
- Required for native online play.
- Patch 1.037 is not required as it will be automatically downloaded.
- A fan made patch containing new additions, most notably including a new Vsync checkbox along with the ability of changing the quality settings for the shader and post process effects.
GameSpy replacement
Since the GameSpy server listings have shut down, a new listing has been provided by the Renegade community.

- Ensure you have the latest version of the
Tiberian Technologies Scripts installed.
- Download and install the
W3D Hub launcher from this link.
- Upon running the launcher, it will detect your Renegade installation automatically.
- If it doesn't detect automatically, click on the
Renegade icon in the launcher, followed by "Import Game" . Navigate to game.exe in your <path-to-game> and select it.
- You should now be able to join Renegade servers through the launcher.
