---|---|---|---|
Widescreen resolution | The game only supports 16:9 resolutions and only 13 predefined resolutions are available.[Note 3] | ||
Multi-monitor | Stretched when attemping to force exclusive fullscreen. When selecting borderless windowed the game runs on a single monitor.[3] | ||
Ultra-widescreen | Stretched when attemping to force exclusive fullscreen. When selecting borderless windowed the game runs in 16:9 while omitting the rest of the desktop.[4][5] | ||
4K Ultra HD | Can be enabled through the "3840x2160 4K Native" resolution option. Every other resolution is upscaled or downscaled from 1920x1080.[6] | ||
Field of view (FOV) | Uses a 45° Vertical FOV during gameplay.[7] | ||

Anisotropic filtering (AF) | See the glossary page for potential workarounds. | ||
Anti-aliasing (AA) | Uses Temporal AA, but the option is tied to the "Post-Processing" setting. | ||
Vertical sync (Vsync) | Use Special K alongside setting "Presentation Interval" to 0 to disable VSync.[10] |
||
60 FPS | Capped at 63-64 FPS when using a monitor with a higher refresh rate than 60 Hz.[11] | ||
120+ FPS | See High frame rate. | ||

Remapping | Mouse bindings are not supported. Some keybinds use multiple actions, and some descriptions don't mention the binding's functionality.[16] | |
Mouse acceleration | Camera movement has mouse acceleration that can't be disabled. | |
Mouse sensitivity | "Camera Speed" option has three different values. Mouse cursor sensitivity depends on OS mouse settings. | |
Mouse input in menus | Navigating menus requires double-clicking on selections, rather than highlighting based on where the mouse is located. | |
Mouse Y-axis inversion | Camera Inversion settings only affect controller inputs. Mouse input always uses Y-Axis inversion, and normal X-Axis movement.[17] | |

Issues unresolved
Performance issues
- Several reports indicate that performance issues are present, even on hardware that is within the listed system requirements.[23][24][25][26][27][28]
- Lowering the in-game graphics options may not result in significant performance improvement.[29]
Exclusive fullscreen mode stretching selected resolution to desktop resolution
- This happens when using a desktop resolution with an aspect ratio that is wider than 16:9 widescreen, regardless of whether aspect ratio preservation is enabled in the Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Radeon Software.[30]
Issues fixed
Resolution limit lower than current resolution when using DPI Scaling
- The game limits resolution options based on the DPI Scaling settings set in Windows. For example, if a 3840x2160 resolution is being used, but DPI Scaling is set to 200%, the in-game resolution will be limited to 1920x1080.[31]
- Windows 7 users may need to use the fix mentioned for 4K resolution to work properly, as noted by the announcement for the 7.09.2019 Build update.[32]

on Windows Vista and later (more details). - ↑ 2.0 2.1 Notes regarding Steam Play (Linux) data:
- File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data.
- Games with Steam Cloud support may also store data in
~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/990050/
. - Use Wine's registry editor to access any Windows registry paths.
- The app ID (990050) may differ in some cases.
- Treat backslashes as forward slashes.
- See the glossary page for details on Windows data paths.
- ↑ Available resolutions:
• 640x360
• 720x405
• 800x450
• 1024x576
• 1152x648
• 1280x720
• 1360x765
• 1366x768
• 1600x900
• 1920x1080
• 2560x1440
• 3840x2160
• 4K Native - ↑ If using the same vertical resolution as the windowed resolution, the window will clamp to a different value. For example, when running 1920x1080 windowed mode on a 2560x1080 resolution, the window resolution will clamp to 1061x1080. This isn't prevalent in Borderless or Fullscreen mode.[8]
- ↑ The "Fullscreen" option is a borderless window stretched to the display resolution. This can cause distortion on anything other than 16:9 resolutions.[9]
- ↑ One example being the crane in the Shipyard, as it may transition the camera back to the third-person perspective (during gameplay) early before the animation is finished.

- Attempting to force a custom resolution with an outdated build will cause occlusion culling to be visible, issues with camera transitions, minimap issues, and objects clipping based on camera rotation. Tested using hex editing on game builds before the 7.09.2019 update.

- Tested by lowering graphics options and adjusting the in-game resolution. Based on testing, raising the in-game resolution to "4K Native" on an RX 5700 nets equivalent performance to running at 1080p.

- Tested with a 5120x2160 custom resolution and 200% DPI scaling on a 2560x1080 monitor. When the 1920x1080 option is selected in-game, it centers on the screen similarly to what would happen at 2560x1080. When selecting 2560x1440, the image appears zoomed in, due to having a higher vertical resolution than what typically happens with native resolution.
