Monetization
Type | Notes |
---|---|
Ad-supported | Ads may appear on the in-game trackside billboards. Players in certain countries may see actual ads for third-party goods and services; where those are not available, players will see Trackmania-based community ads, such as for certain Discord servers or map packs. |
Free-to-play | The first 10 maps of each official campaign and few game modes are free to play. |
Subscription | Annual subscription called 'Club Access' required to unlock: all official campaign maps, community created maps, including daily track challenge mode called 'Track of the Day', advanced track editor, ability to create and join clubs (guilds/clans essentially), apply custom skins, and access certain events. If the player chooses not to renew the subscription, they keep the advanced track editor and access to all the old 'Track of the Day' and campaign maps. |
Microtransactions
Type | Notes |
---|---|
No microtransactions | All monetization in Trackmania (2020) is based on ads and subscriptions detailed above; there are no additional microtransactions. |
