Deep Silver Volition, LLC was an American video game developer and was a subsidiary company of Gearbox Software.

The company was founded by Mike Kulas in October 1996 as Volition, Inc., established after Parallax Software (Which Kulas was one of the co-founders of.) was split into two entities (the other being Outrage Entertainment).

Volition had been part of a few parent companies for years. It was acquired by THQ by in 2000, up until THQ's bankruptcy in 2013 where Volition was acquired by Deep Silver and rename itself to Deep Silver Volition, LLC in the same year. In 2022, Embracer Group announced that Deep Silver Volition would be transferred from Deep Silver to Gearbox Software.

Following the commercial failure of Saints Row, the company was closed down on August 31, 2023.
