The Matrix: Path of Neo is a singleplayer third-person action, brawler, shooter and TPS game in the The Matrix series.

The PC version of the game is based off the Xbox release, in which both ports are missing graphical effects from the PlayStation 2 version (e.g. depth of field absent, image warping, etc), along with a proper widescreen support.[1]

Issues fixed

Game doesn't save video settings

Run as administrator[citation needed]
The game doesn't save the Rendering Detail setting even in admin mode, so it has to be changed on every startup.
Going into <path-to-game>\MatrixConfig.INI to force Rendering Detail doesn't work, as it always goes back to the lowest on startup.

Fixing "blurred" graphics

Do this steps before opening the game:
  1. Open regedit.exe.
  2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000\UMD\.
  3. Find the value PixelCenter.
  4. Change 30 00 00 00 to 31 00 00 00.
  5. After closing the game, change PixelCenter back to 30 00 00 00.

Notes

This method also helps in other games with blurred graphics, like in The Punisher.
This method was tested on AMD videocards (maybe it will also work on NVIDIA videocards).
