Taiko Risshiden III is a singleplayer Tactical RPG game developed and published by Koei. It is the third entry in the Taiko Risshiden series, a sub-series of the Rekoeition Game series.

It was released on March 5, 1999. The Traditional and Simplified Chinese versions, localized by Acer TWP, were released in Taiwan and China on October 27, 1999 and May 19, 2000 respectively. A version of the game with DVD instead of CD was later released on March 24, 2000. It was later re-released under the Koei Teiban Series banner on November 8, 2002.

Release with CD is noted to have problem with Windows XP and later where error appears during installation, but can be rectified by using the Compatibility Mode. DVD and Koei Teiban Series versions doesn't have this problem as the installer included in both releases were patched.
