Taiko Risshiden II[Note 1] is a singleplayer Tactical RPG game developed and published by Koei. It is the second entry in the Taiko Risshiden series, a sub-series of the Rekoeition Game series.
Originally released for the PC-9801 in March 1995, the Windows and MacOS (Classic) versions were released in Japan in 1996. The Traditional and Simplified Chinese versions of the Windows version, localized by Acer TWP, were released in Taiwan and China on March 14, 2000 and August 25, 2000 respectively. The Windows version was later re-released under the Koei Teiban Series banner on February 8, 2002.
