Widescreen resolution

Custom resolutions can be set manually. Note that the image is Vert-, and FOV should be increased to achieve a Hor+ image.
It doesn't work for the Glide renderer, as it doesn't support widescreen resolutions. Even if such a resolution is inserted, the game defaults to one of the 4:3 resolutions present in the graphics settings.
High resolutions suffer from small HUD and texts.
Set custom resolution in-game[2]
  1. While in game, open the console with ç.
  2. Enter setres XXXXxYYYY (for example setres 1920x1080).
Edit ini file[2]
  1. Launch the game at least once then close it.
  2. Open <path-to-game>\System\tnnhunt.ini.
  3. Go to the [WinDrv.WindowsClient] section.
  4. Set ViewportX and ViewportY to the desired resolution.

Field of view (FOV)

Set default FOV in-game[2]
  1. While in game, open the console with ~.
  2. Type fov x, where x is the desired FOV.

Notes

FOV resets back to default when starting new levels or maps. For a permanent solution, see the fix below.
Edit Engine.u[2]
  1. Open <path-to-game>\System\Engine.u with a hex editor like HxD.
  2. Press Ctrl+F and set Datatype to Hex-values.
  3. Search for 0000B442.
  4. Highlight the values and go to the Data inspector tab in the right side.
  5. Change the value in the Single (float32) row to the desired FOV value (check the FOV Calculator for the right value).
  6. Save the file.
