Warnings

The macOS (OS X) version of this game does not work on macOS Catalina (version 10.15) or later due to the removal of support for 32-bit-only apps.

SCP-087 is a first-person supernatural horror game that was developed by Haversine on the Unity engine. It is based on the horror story SCP-087 of the SCP Foundation mythos and was the first game based on the SCP Foundation to ever be released. Despite its short length, the effectiveness of its claustrophobic atmosphere in creating an unsettling experience inspired other developers to create their own games based on SCP-087, most notably Regalis, who would go on to create SCP-087-B and SCP - Containment Breach.[1]

SCP-087 was announced by Haversine on his personal YouTube channel on January 19, 2012, with links to Windows and Mac OS versions of the game hosted on Mediafire.[2]

Due to the unexpected popularity of SCP-087, Haversine announced that he would work on expanding the game, but as of 2020, further updates have not materialized.[2]
