Issues fixed

Disc error on install

Run Gsetup.exe in compatibility mode for Windows 95/98

Game does not launch

Run Rival.exe in compatibility mode for Windows 95/98

CD audio not playing

Use _inmm.dll.
  1. Download and install the program from here
  2. Go to <path-to-game>, and drag-and-drop Rival.exe onto _inmmcnf.exe in order to patch the former.
  3. Put the generated .org file into <path-to-game>.
  4. Rip the music from the game CD using a media player which can do so.
  5. Start _inmm.dll Setup. Add the soundtrack files to the _inmm.ini tab and press save. Put the generated .ini file into <path-to-game> and the music should work.
Both _inmmcnf.exe and _inmmserv.exe might need administrator privileges in order to work.
