Widescreen resolution
3D graphics are Hor+ and HUD is stretched. To enable the widescreen HUD, add vmode/current/widescreen = true to <path-to-game>\motogp.cfg. With the widescreen config enabled however, you must play in a 4:3 resolution and let your monitor stretch the image to achieve true widescreen.

The above method can be used to partially reduce HUD stretching. Play in 16:9 resolution. DgVoodoo2 can be used for image stretching too.
